Sedona
Arts Center: The Art and Soul of Sedona. It started with
a vision . . . and led to a longtime marriage of the landscape and
the arts. In 1958 Egyptian-born sculptor, Nassan Gobran, and a group
of visionaries, inspired by the natural beauty of Sedona, saw the
need for a place where artists could work and teach together - an
arts center. Today the Sedona Arts Center is a continuing legacy
to those ideals. Not only is it a gathering place where artists
and those who love art can explore, teach and exhibit, but it has
grown into an organization with national presence, providing outstanding
education programming and nationally recognized events.
Sustainable
Arizona: Sustainable Arizona Resource and Education Council
is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Arizona and the
Southwest. We work with businesses, individuals, governments and
other organizations to build resilient economies, strong communities
and healthy natural environments.
Our nonprofit organization is made up of volunteers and professionals
committed to making sustainable development possible. Together,
we create and promote community practices to achieve a sustainable
future – where people can thrive for generations in harmony
with each other and the natural world.
